Welcome, to our Behavioral Development Blog!
This blog is part of the Lectures in Behavioral Development Economics (2016, 2017, 2018), Behavioral Economics and Sustainability (2019, 2020), and Sustainable Development (2021) by Prof. Björn Vollan at the Philipps-University Marburg.
On this blog, students have the opportunity to write a blog post on a topic they find interesting and worth sharing. The subject should be related to the lectures, but can otherwise be chosen freely.
The goal of this blog is not to have an academic discussion on development or sustainability issues, but instead to share and discuss personal opinions and beliefs on certain topics in a more casual and less restrictive way. Students are invited to share their views, comment on their peers’ posts and to discuss different opinions in a polite and constructive manner.
If you have any questions regarding the assignment, take a look at the slides from the first lecture, and if you are in need of some assistance for your first blog entry, there is an entire post dedicated to helping you. Feel free to contact me in class, or during office hours, if you have any further questions.
I am looking forward to reading your posts and discussions!
